Homeschooling Statistics Today

Homeschooling statistics prove that teaching children the “old fashion” way can be exceedingly beneficial to children, especially if they live in an economically stressed school district.  Okay, I’ll take that back, since the majority of U.S. households today, but the reality is that the majority of our kids are not benefiting from the public school system, even when schools had money to invest in computers.  One of the major issues facing school children who attend public school is class size;  too many children are squeezed into one classroom, whereby none of the children will get the time and attention they deserve from their teacher.

I have taught in public schools in NY and even in the best of districts, teaching and learning is a slow uphill battle, even for the most dedicated teachers and motivated students.  Yes, both still exist!
